How to Bulk Resize Images Online
Bulk resizing saves time when you need to apply the same settings to multiple images at once. To get started, drag multiple image files onto the upload zone or click to select several files at once from your device. Bulk Resize Settings Explained
The By Dimensions mode resizes all images to the specified width and height in pixels. If Lock Aspect Ratio is enabled, the height is automatically calculated from the width based on each image's original proportions. This prevents distortion when images have different original sizes. Disable aspect ratio lock when you need exact dimensions regardless of proportion.
The By File Size mode compresses each image to the target KB using the smartCompress algorithm. The tool runs a binary search through quality settings to find the optimal quality that hits the target size within 3% accuracy. The quality floor is 40%, meaning the tool will not go below 40% quality regardless of how small the target KB is. If the target is too small for the image even at 40% quality, dimensions are auto-scaled down proportionally.
The Both mode first resizes to the specified dimensions and then applies file size compression. This matches common exam portal requirements that specify both pixel dimensions and a maximum file size, such as SSC CGL which requires 275×354 pixels and up to 50KB.
